Le Jour de la Nuit, St Martin de Belleville
Saturday 27th September...lights out!
Le Jour de la Nuit (Day of the Night) is an awareness campaign about light pollution, the protection of biodiversity and enjoying the stars and beauty of the night sky. With events and celebrations taking place across the country each town, city or commune has its own programme set.
Right here in Belleville Valley the program is set for the evening of Saturday 27th September - tomorrow! An evening of astronomy with 2 slideshows ('Rosetta and Comet' & 'The Northern Lights'), a mobile planetarium and stargazing through a telescope. This is fantastic event for all the family and a chance to see the night sky as you have never seen it before! Residents are asked to meet at 19:00 in the sports hall of Saint-Martin de Belleville in order to take part in this night.
