Video Snow Reports are a free service we are offering, in which we finally reveal the identities of some of our Snow Reporters... well that's assuming they are not wearing balaclavas and aviator shades - just to protect them from the from the same people who are after ‘The Stig’ from the BBC’s Top Gear.

Winter is coming. There is no denying it. Temperatures have dropped, days have become shorter and Christmas decorations are ALREADY in the supermarkets!
If you have been waiting eagerly for the ski lifts to open since May then your period of expectation is almost at an end. Although the new season doesn’t really start until the beginning of December, there are a number of different shows and festivals happening at the end of October that precede the new winter and herald in the new season.
For those wanting to shop, the London Olympia Metro Ski & Snowboard Show is a great place to start your winter season. All the major brands from both the ski and snowboard world are in attendance, all the latest equipment is on show and available to buy.
If that seems a little too indoors then a trip to Les Deux Alpes for the Mondial du Freeski is for you. Here you can test this winter's equipment from some of the newest companies in the ski world on the largest skiable glacier in France. It looks set to be a great winter!

The end of season is drawing near, but the snow continues to be excellent for April with several snowfalls in the past week. Although the lower runs have spring snow, the upper runs are in great condition and those who braved bad weather earlier in the week were rewarded by powder off-piste. The Three Valley resorts begin closing from this weekend, so this is the last video snow report of the winter season.

There’s still lots of snow in the Three Valleys, but mild weather and recent rain means the snow is good on the upper runs but slushy and wet lower down. Virtually the entire ski area is open and the slopes are quiet as the end of season nears.

April is here and with it April weather: changeable with spring showers and sunny periods. The snow is good on the upper runs, but rather spring-like below 1800m. Caroline has been enjoying the good snow up high and also watching the British Land National Ski Championships taking place in Méribel.
