Val Thorens Snow Report: 3rd April 2014
Windy weekend ahead but 3 Vallees Enduro to look forward to
The weather has taken a turn here in Val Thorens with wind bringing in a fair amount of cloud cover which will persist until Monday, nevertheless the snow will remain in good shape across the complete Val Thorens ski area.
The snow depths have dipped slightly and we are seeing 220 cm at the top of the pistes and 110cm in resort. The avalanche risk is a low 1/5.
The famous Les 3 Vallees Enduro is on Sunday, a ful lday event of all things that slide on the snow. Join up in teams of 3 to take part in a host of games and enjoy a giant Savoyard buffet lunch. Much more than just a competition, the 3 Vallees Enduro is a fun day out. More info here.
