The Bar

The hotel's bar is housed in an enormous cube of polished concrete with a charcoal pine ceiling and furnished with comfortable contemporary armchairs. It features a glowing fireplace and a bookshelf filled with a collection of red books published by Guérin, the renowned mountain specialist. Live bands, singers and DJs play at the bar several times a week as you enjoy cocktails and generous platters of cold meats.

The Restaurant

Visitor comments

  • "The location of this 4* hotel in Val Thorens is probably the best for ski on/off and downtown-life seekers. And the price makes it a more affordable alternative for quality hotels to the 5*-hotels. Nice swimming pool and spa, nice bar area ; still, could do better on the food/terrace and the lift system. Dinner at La Fondue delivered in line with expectations for a traditional alpine restaurant, and with knowledgeable and friendly staff." - Trip Advisor
  • "I honestly think after skiing for 10 years in France this location will not be beaten true ski to door. Loved the hotel bar area etc was great to chill out with daily in house Dj playing chilled music was great. Staff were always fantastic and friendly could not do enough for my kids, we all loved the spa area we had slope side family room inc separate area with bunk beds very quiet we slept great. In hotel ski shop very helpful my boy changed his boots 3 times not a problem also prices were very competitive the manager was always around talking to guests making sure all was ok." - Trip Advisor
  • "This is a good location for a ski holiday. The place is ski in and ski out, and the place is setup for a great holiday. The rooms are reasonably sized and well appointed. The views are good and the upper rooms better. The hotel bar is quiet and very friendly, in good weather the terrace is fab. The restaurant is generally good quality and very classically French styled. Overall a great hotel with good facilities, the outstanding element of the hotel is the staff who are friendly and helpful." - Trip Advisor
