Savoyard Chef Jean Sulpice heads one of France's most famous restaurants. This is definitely one for a special occasion.
Beautifully furnished but with a relaxed atmosphere, the restaurant is modern and extremely chic but not too formal - ski wear is welcomed! There is a large sunny terrace overlooking the slopes.
Jean Sulpice’s cuisine has an authentic Savoy personality – he uses native products to create a dish, or a flavour, a mountain herb or a sauce. With a goal to celebrate the richness and the diversity of the Savoy region, winter or summer, he works seasonally with local farmers.
Signature dishes include Quail eggs, cucumber jelly, smoked fera and oxalis, Pigeon cooked in a salt crust and verbena, Sweetbread with tonka bean, or Saffron, passion fruit and Savoy biscuit. This is certainly not a cheap restaurant, but who can argue with 2 Michelin stars?
Open in both winter and summer for lunch 12:15 - 13:30 and dinner 19:15-21:30. Booking advised.
