Earlier this summer the Algonquin group bought the Chalet Hotel Kaya from the Saint-André Group for an undisclosed sum, and are entrusting the management and marketing of the property to Temmos.

Temmos was created in 2009 and now, with the purchase of the Kaya, own and run 6 establishments around the Alps. As well as the 4 star Les Bruyeres in Les Menuires, their portfolio includes Les Aiglons, Le Morgane and Le Mercure (Les Bossons) in Chamonix and Le Golf in Les Arcs.

Temmos have committed to continuing to develop and grow each of their businesses, improving each of the hotels in their care rather than looking at expanding their geographical range. This, says CEO Mark Silwa, is a strategy that will develop customer care offered, building on core offers and brand.

Marketing will be focussed towards new markets such as Russia, Belgium and the Netherlands in an effort to continue the company's double digit growth which they've achieved over the last few years.
