Are there any summer lift pass discounts and deals in Val Thorens?
The Three Valleys offer special discounts for families both on pedestrian and mountain bike passes, as well as a special three hour mountain bike pass for beginners.

Family discount
With the Three Valleys family discount, everybody pays the child's price. Family discounts are applied to groups of four people comprising at least two adults and two children. Passes must be purchased at the same time, for the same duration and dates.

Three hour beginner mountain bike pass deal
Passes for those who want to try mountain biking for the first time in Val Thorens. These are offered for €16 per adult (13-74 years) and €11 per child (5-12 years). Group / Family discounts are also available - for three people or more, all passes must be paid for at the same time in one single payment, the child rate is applied to each additional person.

Free lift passes in Val Thorens

Who can use the lifts for free in Val Thorens?
Children aged under five years old and people aged over 75 years old can use the lifts for free in the whole of the Three Valleys. Proof of age required at the moment of purchase. These passes are only available at the lift pass offices in resort.

Mountain bike lift passes in Val Thorens

Val Thorens, together with St Martin de Belleville and Les Menuires, has two lifts available for mountain bikers to use in summer: the Cairn cable car and the Moutière chairlift, accessing 120km of mountain bike trails. You can buy lift passes for just these lifts or for the wider 3 Valleys area, which includes Courchevel and Méribel too.

How much are mountain bike lift passes in Val Thorens?
That depends. The 3 Valleys offers mountain bike lift passes for one and seven days, as well as for three non-consecutive days and for the whole season. Mountain bike lift passes are only available at the lift pass offices in resort. There are also single lift passes available

Pedestrian passes in Val Thorens

Pedestrians and mountain walkers can make use of the same two summer lifts as mountain bikers in Val Thorens (Cairn & Moutière) and the Cime Caron cable car, plus a whole host of Three Valleys lifts to broaden the scope of mountain trails available. You'll find great picnic spots with incredible mountain views and several mountain refuges that make a welcome stop-off point on any hike.

How much are pedestrian passes in Val Thorens?
Once more there are one and seven-day Three Valleys pedestrian passes available, as well as single uplift passes for the Val Thorens lifts. Return journeys are free for pedestrians. Summer season pedestrian passes are also available for the Three Valleys area.

Are there any other passes available in Val Thorens?
Val Thorens offers special multi-activity passes, called 'Le Passeport Ascensionnel' as well as passes for their double zip line at the top of the Moutière chairlift.

How much are multi-activity passes in Val Thorens?
You pay a nominal fee for the card and load it with credits. You then have discounts on access to all the lifts in Val Thorens, Les Menuires and St Martin, plus you can use the credits on a whole host of activities. These include access to the pool in Les Menuires, archery, tennis, basketball, volleyball, football, table tennis, fitness, aquagym, judo, trampolines (Les Menuires), the Saint Martin de Belleville Museum and much more.
